I already speak fluent Spanish, in my college the major requires me to learn 3 languages. Which should three would be the better choices? Should I do Spanish, even though I already speak it? This are also languages such as: Russian, Greek, French, Latin, Hebrew, and German. Someone help! I need to change my classes now while I still haesl wouldve time. I wish to teach ESL in an elementary school.

Depends on where you live. Here in central Iowa, we have a large Bosnian immigrant population so a majority of all our foreign students are Bosnian. I would advise you to make an educated decision based on common ethnic groups in placesl wouldes where you'd like to work.
Spanish is a dead give away, I think you should choose it even though you already speak it fluently, the practice is always good. Unless you don't feel like you need the practice, then choose something like German, Chinese, Russian and any other ethnic groups that are commonly in your area.

Well, Lupus can do and attack almost any organ. However, there are various degrees. The prognosis is much better today then even 10 years ago. It can come on quickly and diminish with time, or a person may have it hit slow, with periods of remmison. It does effect skin but there are two types of lupus SLE (which is systemic, meaning whole body) or Discoid (meaning just skin). I have had many "Flares", some very serious, and some mild ones. Part of living well with Lupus is a persons fight and attitude. There is no reason, with proper medical care that your mother can't lead a full life. There are more Family support and outside support are also paramount. As a person who lives with, as well as the researcher for the group I own, with other memebers, my knowledge base has grown. As well as a very good Rhuemotologist, that is important, and going to appoitments with a specilaist is paramount in catching any organ threatning, or even milder cases of lupus quickly. Several in our group still continue working, some not. So until you find out for sure, worry and stress will only make you and your mom feel worse. I also know from personal experience, when I don't eat fast food, I recover quicker, and have longer periods of remmison, as well as I just feel better. Along with blood work, a butterfly rash your mother must meet a minimum of 4 of 11 critera for a possible or probable diagnosis.

There is four types of Lupus duh you idiot.I think that I've got it cause there is a rash that looks like a butterfly olupusn my left arm and it's on my fingers on my left hand.The fourth type of Lupus is neonatal lupus that type can affect a fetus or a baby.

lupus is a serious condition. life expectancy depends on the type of lupus you have, as one type affects your skin and the other affects the soft tissues of your body. my aunt and 2 of her kids have the type that affects your skin, and they are living just fine. my mother has the lupus that affects soft blupusody tissue, and this includes organs. she's had lupus for about 10 years, and is still alive and working and leading a fairly normal life. never ask if a disease or disorder will "kill" you, ask what measures you can take to make life easier with the problem. a disease may weaken your defenses, but if you have something terminal or long lasting, never go out without a fight

I have SLE (systemic Lupus) I was told in 84.
I'm still here...do fine, no meds...(I'm 52 now).
She can do well, way into her 70's-80's if she does away with stress, stays out of the sun, takes her meds (if she needs to) and takes care of her health...

she'll need to see an Internal Meds Dr or a Rheumatologist (if she has rheumatoid arthritis). There are a LOT of new meds out now to help...and if she takes care of herself, she'll live a long time...

you stated the main problem, it is that you "have to talk" not "like to talk". you don't have to do something you don't like. otherwise others will feel it and this will make your image worse. am i right?
but i have to say you are not alone in that, i don't like messenger talk, it makes me feeling that you have to type something now or the other one would think you are bored from him/her.
that's because messenger communicaticonversation questions anythingon is based only on text letters. however in real life even when we are not talking we still communicate through eye and body languages and poses. we whisper, jiggle,and speak out loud.
i recommend you not to go through messenger, and make it through emails, or adding them as a friend of yours in yahoo answers or other like sites. so you will still communicate with them but in a different way that is more appropriate and not pushy on you.
otherwise i advice you to meet them on-line once a week only, so you will have things to share about your whole week, or recent events to discuss

I really want to be on broadway and am, if i do say so myself, a great, actor, singer , and dancer! Any tips on how to be on broadway? Or how I can work to be on broadway, um.......here is my exsperiance,

I've asked my teachers (not about Broadway yet, but about persuing an acting career) and their advice was to join a theater and try as best as you can to get the highest part that your age and experiance can get you. I'm about to join a community theater (that's been around for 30 years) in my town. I'm hoping that my acting skills will improve, and my singing and dancing will too (actually.. i'm not "hoping" i'm "confident").
There's a movie out there called "Now That's what I call Entertainment" it has clips from all the best broadway shows and movies with broadway actors/esses in them.
Also, there's a city called Brandson, in Missouri. It's the next best thing to Broadway itself only they're more accepting of young performers and they are good-ol'-boy country friendly, and they care as much about the skill as they do the spirit and the love of showbiz.
That's another thing you need: Confidence! Not just any normal confidence, you already have that. You need to big speical confidence that strictly says "I'm the next *insert actress name here*!!! And i'm GOING to be on Broadway!"
All you can do, and all we can really tell you is to hope, and to dream, and to keep on dreaming!!!

Try to audition for as many things as you can, and work toward getting into a reputable theatre school, such as Juilliard, Yale, NYU, or Carnegie-Mellon.
Acting is something you'll have to spend as much time and effort on as anything else. It's not something you just wander into. Find a class.
At 11, you're in a good position to get prepared, so get to work. Voice lessons, dance lessons and by all means find an acting class!
Umm... move to New York or California I suppose... maybe find a acting teacher, like at a college or high school nearby who'd be willing to teach and help you...involve yourself in as much of the performing arts as possible: all types of dance, vocal performance, even the piano could help you...read and watch plays and musical theatre as much as possible.

Well kid you are on a great start. I am a humble rakodyssey dance competitioner, so i don't have much experiance. My son has been in movies and plays and so have i, they were big sundance film festivals. Take small steps, I am sure i will hear about you in broadway later on
Your dancing seems really great, so keep that up! Start taking a few acting classes, and if your school has a drama program join it. Also, if your dance studio offers musical theatre classes, definitly take those. Also I would look into taking voice lessons, it will help your voice be its best, and you will learn some great technique. Also, continue taking jazz in dance, also, look into learning some music theory. Al though, if you get voice lessons, you will probably be taught theory as well.

I'm not sure if you are wanting to do it NOW or just "someday". If now, find some open auditions for child actors/singers/dancers.

Keep at it, join choir and drama in school so that you have years of expierence when you apply to schools and such. It's hard work but it's worth it. Here is a great school for broadway prep. It's more of a college so it will be awhile before you go however, 99% of the grads go on to work on broadway or in theatre. They have a list of classes you take for either program so you can get an idea of what dance classes and such that you should really focus on. Do community theater if you have time for it in your schedule, many community theater's do productions during the summer that have roles for younger actors, so that they can do it w/o school conflicts. Eventually, you'll want an acting coach, but that won't be until you get into high school and start seriously thinking about your college auditions. Choose your post high school education carefully, there are good and bad programs out there, but you're not even at that point yet. Just act whenever you can, in whatever you can, and audition as often as possible. Good luck!

When I was teenager, I thought Omar Khaijan was the ashort wise sayings and quotesbsolute supreme, or Herman Hesse. Full of "wisdom", though a bit broody/cheesy/teenage angst stuff by today's standards

I've been using the korean mini dictionary for quite a while, when i got the updating note, i acceppted the updates and since then i cannot use the mini dictionary. tried to uninstall and reinstall, few times, but it keeps giving me the same note which closes the program before even started. Can anyone help, i do not speak korean and yahoo korea won't answer me anyway, they told me to ask the yahoyahoo korean dictionaryo i got the user id from...hehe..

Over the years, my cat has slowly gained weight. He's at the high-end of the healthy weight scale and I'm looking for a good cat food will aid in his weight loss. He's been an inside cat for about 2 years now if that makes a different. Thanks for the help!
Science Diet has a great variety of foods and all my vets have recommended it. the indoor formulas of any cat food are usually formulated with less fat/calories since indoor cats tend to be a bit less active, but there are also "lite" versions of just about every variety.
You may also want to consider your cats age. If he is 7 years or older, go for the senior cat food, it compensates for the decline in activity as they get older and I think there are lite versions of the senior formula also.
Just be sure to follow the measurements for the appropriate amounts on the bag so you don't accidentally overfeed him.

well...I don't care how much weight you might think you need to lose...eating cat food is just NOT recommended. IT'S FOR CATS!!! NOT PEOPLE!!! Try cutting calories, increasing activity and eating smaller portions. Besides...cat food is mostly liver and ground up fish (bones, scales, guts etc.).
One thing to keep in mind is that cats should lose weight very slowly. Rapid weight loss can fatally damage their liver. So, be patient with the weight loss and don't try to drastically alter his diet all at once. Good luck...I'm the parent of a big cat, too.
Science diet may have a great variety but Science diets first two ingredients are Corn, and by-products. Both are fillers and can add weight and aren't healthy for your cat overall. The reason you vet recommended Science Diet is behealthy food weight losscause they are paid by Hills to recommend there food.
since i switched from iams to science diet my cat's eyes no longer run and she is much more alert. she gets wet food and dry food, just 1/4 cup a day of dry and a couple of tablespoons of wet and she looks better than ever at 17.

You should look into premium food brands like Innova or Natural Balance. These have very little or no ash in the food, thus making your cat be truly and properly filled. This way your cat wont overeat.
Regular cat food has a lot of ash, which is nothing but fillers, to make the cat "filled with air", so to speak, and thus get hungry again faster.
Changing the food he eats isn't always necessary. Simply feed him 10% less kibble each day (for every 10 kernels, take one out) it's that easy! Once he reaches his target weight, keep the amount the same. Feed him in half or a third of his total daily amount in 2 or 3 meals, that way he feels less hungry throughout the day and will metabolize his meals more efficiently.

least. After we got him fixed, we started letting him go outside a little bit at a time, with supervision of course (history of pine tree climbing.. not pretty).
We saw results in a month. The pounds were just flying off of him. He was less dependent on food, and got a lot of exercise.
I'd say get him fixed, and let him outside a little bit. Also, try finding a wide variety of toys he can play with inside. exercise and activity can make all the difference in the world.
Science Diet Light (my vet recommended it). Feed him twice daily, only 1/4c per serving. It seems like he's hardly getting anything but after a few weeks you should see a difference. I did with my cat.

My friend's dog is sick and they don't have alot of money to work with and their dog really needs help. Please, if you have any info, let me know. I don't mean free spay/neuter clinics, I mean like...clinics for sick animals, by the way. Thank you for any help.

Check with the local Humane Society or other dog rescue organizations. Oftentimes, they know of vets that will charge less than others.
Tell your friend to shop around and call all the vets in the area. Not all vets charge the same, and sometimes you can find one free pet clinicsthat charges a lot less then average. It usually only costs about $30-40 to get a dog seen by the vet, and tests or treatment is extra. The vet may be able to work out a payment plan.

I'm making the jacket from the pattern Butterick b4929 ( view B. I'd like to add a peter pan collar, but I've never made that type of collar and I can't find any tutorials that are helpful. Advice, please?

This is what I feel I would do. Cut another copy of your mandarin collar out of extra paper - then use this to make your new collar pattern. Measure on your jacket the approximate outer curve of where you want your PP collar to be and how deep - then measure the outer side of the mandarin collar and compare to find out how much you need to increase it to get the PP collar - say your mandarin collar is 20 inches (50cm) aound the outer edge and you want the pp collar to be say 30 inches (75cm) then that means you need to increase the outer measure by 10 inches (25 mm)Make cuts at even spaces on the extra collar pattern from the outer to the inner edge(task peter tutorialhe one that you sew on the garment) but not right through to the inner edge, it needs to be almost but not quite cut right to the edge
Lets say you need to increase using these measures by 10 " -you could make 10 cuts and spead or fan the outer edge out so that the total edge is 10 " bigger than the original - make sure you stick or glue it on to another piece of paper and then redraw the edge and also a curved end like the PP collar has - if the mandarin has extra space in the front I would also allow some extra by measuring how far it needs to be extended to bring it in toward the middle from your original pattern - when you feel you have it looking like a pp collar then cut it out and use it to make your new collar after double checking to see if it looks right, perhaps it would also be a good idea to cut a collar first and drape it on your new garment to see if it fits ok and needs any alterations and sits right . Please note the measurments are only a suggestiask peter tutorialon as I have no idea of your collar pattern - the actual measurements need to be worked out by you and the amount of cuts you make also depends on you - hope you can understand my logic and that this may help

I have taken lexapro for three nights only. I dont like the way it makes me feel and it has made me terribly sick so I want to stop taking it. I know it is a medication you are supossed to wean off of but do I need to do that after only 3 days?

My experience with Lexapro was different in the beginning. During the first days I couldn't sleep, had hot flashes and agitation (couldn't sit still). Agitation continued for several months. After that the drug was great. I'm still on it, have to take it in the AM or it's hard to sleep
I took lexapro for over 5 years, some stomach discomfort the first few days, I slept like baby andlexapro when I stopped I had a few side effects but nothing out of this world. I think is a great medication.
If you can hang on for the first three weeks, after that you will see the full effect.

I will say that it is wonderful drug while taking it as long as you take it every day, same time of day, same dose. Any irregularities will totally mess you up!

- 1 - Matt has finally graduated from high school, and his parents couldn't be anymore proud. He had straight A's all four years, and his parents are under the impression that he's actually going to school to take over their rich business. But, Matt wants to be an artist. His parents aren't going to let him go so easy once they figure out he ran away from home. They cancel all his credit cards, and have people searching all over for him. All hope is lost for Matt.. until he meets a bored rich girl, pretending to be a lesbian to tick off her parents. Her parents don't believe her, and she is in a bit of a dilemma. They make a compromise.. Matt dresses up as her "girlfriend" in order to make her parents believe her, and she pays him, giving him enough money to both go to a good college and rent an apartment. But, with his parents looking all over for him, college isn't a good idea at the moment. He lies low, and she allows him to stay at her place as long as he doesn't get caught. Is there more to her than what meets the eye?

- 4 - Grace, a high school senior student, lives in Hawaii. Yet, she can't stand anything having to do with the ocean. But, fins, gills, and.. every other body part that belongs to a fish. She finds herself bumping into a strange school of fish, who strangely enough, talk to her.. and she understands them. Oh, right, this is a dream, she thinks to herself. But, it's just cruel reality. Not only is she a fish for good.. but fish are prejudiced against in the land she ventured into. Fish, if they are caught, become slaves to the mer people and other horrible things. All her new fish friends explain this to her, and they allow her to stay with them. But one specific fish catches her eyes, he goes by Fin. Although no one knows this. He's the prince of the sea. But, why is he a fish.. and can he be trusted? Will Grace get caughalf brothers meet in hawaiiht and become a slave to the mer people forever?
- 5 - If the world was suddenly divided into the two genders, male and female, what would it be like? Tanner and Eve know, because they've been living like that since they were born. But it isn't what you would expect it to be. The male side is.. clean, and the female side is.. well, it could look better. Without women hanging off their arms, the males don't have anyone bossing them around. As for the women, they don't see the point in clean spaces, seeing as they have no one to impress. Tanner and Eve think there's something missing and they're right. They heard of the invisible wall of energy dividing the two genders but never one thought about crossing it. Until it seems like the world is ending.
- 6 - Struggling since birth against her older brother, Aubrey has always wanted her parent's attention... but never gotten any of it. She's now in high school while her brother is off in Iraq in the marines, yet.. her parents still aren't as proud of her as they are him. Oh, right, this is a dream, she thinks to herself. But, it's just cruel reality. Not only is she a fish for good.. but fish are prejudiced against in the land she ventured into. Fish, if they are caught, become slaves to the mer people and other horrible things. All her new fish friends explain this to her, and they allow her to stay with them. But one specific fish catches her eyes, he goes by Fin. Although no one knows this. He's the prince of the sea. But, why is he a fish.. and can he be trusted? Will Grace get caughalf brothers meet in hawaiiht and become a slave to the mer people forever?
- 5 - If the world was suddenly divided into the two genders, male and female, what would it be like? Tanner and Eve know, because they've been living like that since they were born. But it isn't what you would expect it to be. The male side is.. clean, and the female side is.. well, it could look better. Without women hanging off their arms, the males don't have anyone bossing them around. As for the women, they don't see the point in clean spaces, seeing as they have no one to impress. Tanner and Eve think there's something missing and they're right. They heard of the invisible wall of energy dividing the two genders but never one thought about crossing it. Until it seems like the world is ending.
- 6 - Struggling since birth against her older brother, Aubrey has always wanted her parent's attention... but never gotten any of it. She's now in high school while her brother is off in Iraq in the marines, yet.. her parents still aren't as proud of her as they are him. Desperate, she begs one of his old best friends who didn't graduate to help her beat him for her parent's love. But, it can't be that easy, can it?
I realize these may sound unrealistic but please bare with me! So, which one did you like the best and why? Thanks in advance!
I would have to say number one. This is because it sounds the most realistic i guess. It sounds the most interesting out of them all.
